We two my wife and myself will be reaching USA with green Card and will stay in Florida.
Will like to know which is the best insurance cover?
We both are in fairly good health but must cover pre-existing conditions.
We have no income source in US.
Thank you for contacting us at American Visitor Insurance
for your travel health insurance needs!
There are both short term and long term Green Card plans available with us:
Here now are the short term plans open to the green card holder.
These policies may be purchased for a coverage period of 5 days with the option to renew the policy for up to 12 months. They cover medical emergencies, accidents and illnesses with limited or no coverage for pre-existing conditions.
To view plans that are open to Greencard holders
for coverage within the USA
please refer to the links below for individual plan brochures. To get a quote for each policy I have provided an additional link. By using this link you can change the maximum coverage, the time frame and the deductible to find a plan which suits your needs and budget.
There is one fixed option renewable for up to 5 years:
This plan is designed for immigrants who intend to stay on in the United States. The plan is renewable for up to 5 years.
There is one comprehensive benefit insurance:
If you can list a country other than the US as your home country, this comprehensive policy may work for you.
Patriot America or Patriot Platinum
Similarly, the Patriot Platinum plan has some coverage for pre-existing conditions. Please see the brochure for details. This plan has more options available for persons over 70.
These policies, are suitable for long term Green Card holders.
Inbound Immigrant from Seven Corners:
