questionDear Customer,
Thanks for contacting American Visitor Insurance with your inquiry!

Visitor Secure is an affordable scheduled/fixed benefit plan from World Trips. This plan presents some advantages like coverage for older travelers and coverage for acute onset of pre existing conditions for people under age 70. This plan is eligible for visitors visiting US and for US citizens visiting other countries. For visitors above age 65, this plan requires the coverage to be effective within 30 days of arrival to US. After purchase, you will have access to the "visa letter" which can be downloaded from the client zone or call us and we can email it immediately which states that it covers COVID-19 like any other illness. Please consult the brochure to understand how much is covered for each medical expense as it may not cover 100% of any bills. This plan cannot be purchased from NY, MD, WA, or FL.

The other option is to get a comprehensive plan which has more complete coverage. Patriot International Lite also covers COVID-19 like any other illness. After the deductible, you are 100% covered to the maximum of the plan. The plan also has other benefits like baggage loss, trip interruption and emergency medical evacuation. You will have access to the "visa letter" through the confirmation email after purchase. This plan cannot be purchased from MD.
