Coinsurance inside US & Canada - Within PPO network, plan pays 90% of eligible expenses up to $5,000, then 100% up to Max limit. Outside PPO network, plan pays 80% of eligible expenses up to $5,000, then 100% up to Max limit.
Additional benefit for US citizens with primary health coverage - Coverage for pre-existing conditions up to plan maximum.
Comprehensive plan provides exhaustive coverage when compared to fixed or scheduled benefit plans. The plan pays for all expenses after the deductible and co-insurance component. The plan is recommended given the high costs of health care arouond the world. The plan is worth every penny of premium paid in the event of catastrophic medical emergencies.
These plans do not have benefit limits based on the type of medical expense.

Activities Covered up to certificate period:
Abseiling, BMX, bobsleigh, bungee jumping, canyoning, caving, hang gliding, heli-skiing, high diving, horseback riding, hot air ballooning, inline skating, jet skiing, jungle zip lining, kayaking, mountain biking, paragliding, parascending, piloting a non-commerical aircraft, rappelling, rock climbing or mountaineering (ropes and guides to 4500m from ground level), scuba diving (to 50m), skydiving, snow boarding, snowmobiling, snow skiing, spelunking, surfing, trekking, whitewater rafting (to Class V), and wildlife safaris. These adventure activities must be engaged in solely for leisure, recreation, or entertainment purposes.
Groups may purchase the Chaperone/Faculty Leader Replacement Rider in the event that an insured person who is designated as a Chaperone/Faculty Leader by the sponsoring organization has an unexpected death of a relative, a medical emergency, or the substantial destruction of the principal residence in his/her home country, which causes the insured person to have to cancel or interrupt travel, this plan covers reimbursement up to $3,000 for the expense of a round trip economy airline ticket for a replacement Chaperone/Faculty Leader. (avaliable on group plans)
This optional coverage is available for the primary insured person only. This coverage is in addition to the Accidental Death and Dismemberment already included in the plans. Coverage must be purchased for a minimum of three months.
Available to insureds up to age 65. It provides coverage for medical evacuations for sudden and unexpected medical conditions that are non life-threatening, and where hospitalization is medically necessary. It also provides coverage for evacuations as a result of a natural disaster. This rider must be purchased for a minimum purchase of 3 months regardless of the minimum number of days being traveled.

Yes, you can buy Patriot International insurance as it satisfies the Schengen visa requirements as mandated by the European consulates and also offers the Schengen visa letter as required by the Schengen state consulates. Patriot International travel insurance also offers visa letter in French if required.
