If the person is already in the US, then they cannot purchase the HOP plans offered by INF. They can purchase any of the other INF plans, but there will be a 5 day waiting period for any new sickness and 15 days for Covid-19. It is also required for customers in this situation to send an I94 and health attestation form signed and dated.
The member also needs to submit their I-94 form.

INF Covid19 travel insurance by Elite Plus travel insurance for coronavirus coverage will cover eligible medical expenses resulting from covid19/SARS-CoV-2. Eligible medical expenses are medically necessary expenses that are not subject to another plan exclusion.
INF insurance will not cover visitors to US if they are already sick, if a traveller is already in the hospital, expecting to use the insurance, if travelers have scheduled medical procedures, or if travelers are seeking on-going treatment.
If a visitor proceeds to do any of the preceding, it may result in the cancellation of coverage, full refund of the amount paid, and all claims denied. INF has a 5 day waiting period for new sickness / pre-existing coverage if the traveler has already arrived in the United States.
INF visitors insurance to the USA will not provide coverage if the customer is already sick, if a traveler is already in hospital, if travelers have scheduled medical procedures or if the traveler is seeking on-going treatment and expecting to use the INF visitor health insurance.
