Covers pre-existing conditions for medical services and medical evacuation. This plan offers a choice of varying medical limits and deductibles. Covers trips up to 6 months with 100% coinsurance. GeoBlue TravelGap Excursion insurance cost per month ranges from $40 to $825, this is dependent on the age of the traveler, the plan maximum and the deductible.
The cost of TravelGap Excursion is higher for older travelers as they are more likely to need medical care while traveling. Also, the higher the plan limit, the higher will be the premium, while the higher the deductible the lower will be the premium. Travelers up to age of 95 years can choose maximum limits of $50,000, $100,000, $500,000, $1,000,000.

Yes, TravelGap Excursion insurance plan meets all Schengen visa requirements. If you're traveling to a country within the Schengen area, you may be required depending on your nationality to provide proof that your insurance includes specific benefits. We can supply a visa letter confirming that your policy meets all Schengen visa standards. This letter includes the exact wording typically required by consulates.
TravelGap Excursion plan may be purchased up to one day before your departure date. Customers wishing to receive a hard copy ID card should allow 2 weeks prior to their effective date when purchasing.
This plan can be available from 1 day to 180 days.
Pre-Existing medical conditions are treated differently depending upon the plan you have selected. For travelers who enroll in the single trip plan option that requires maintaining a primary insurance inside the U.S., this plan will cover medical treatments for pre-existing conditions. Please refer to the definition of a primary health plan for more specific information on what plans qualify as a primary insurance.
For travelers who enroll in the single trip plan option that does not require maintaining a primary insurance inside the U.S., benefits are not available for any services received on or within 6 months after the Eligibility Date of an Insured Person, if those services are related to a Pre-Existing Condition as defined in the Definitions section of the Plan Description. This exclusion does not apply to a newborn that is enrolled within 31 days of birth or a newly adopted child that is enrolled within 31 days from either the date of placement of the child in the home, or the date of the final decree of adoption.
The pre-existing conditions exclusion under this second plan option does not apply to the Medical Evacuation benefit, Repatriation of Remains benefit, or the Bedside Visit benefit and does not require that insureds have primary insurance at the time of enrollment.
These plans are secondary insurance. However, we will process and pay claims as a primary payor and reserve the right, where applicable, to contact your primary insurance company to coordinate benefits.
Yes. HTH Worldwide travel insurance TravelGap Excursion plan do not exclude illnesses or injuries related to terrorism or a terrorist act. In order to be covered in countries where there are open hostilities, such as Ukraine, a member must not be engaged in hostile or combative activities.
