🛡️ Best Comprehensive Travel Insurance for USA

Please can you suggest me a travel insurance for USA?

Regards,

Liberty
Hi,

Thank you for contacting us at American Visitor Insurance for your insurance needs!.

The Atlas America/Atlas Travel plan is a good comprehensive plan and very popular with tourists to the US because there is no coinsurance or cost after the deductible if you go within the PPO network of the company. This plan covers "acute onset of pre-existing condition" up to the age of 80.

There is an additional coverage available for adventure sports as well on this plan. They recently added a $15 copay for urgent care (paid instead of the deductible, unless your deductible is $0, then you do not pay the copay either). It is a unique plan in offering coverage for complications of pregnancy in the first 26 weeks of gestation.

This plan is good for people on OPT and H1 Visa holders who are already in the US for sometime. The issue with the OPT person or someone who has been in the US for some time is that many plans require to be bought within a certain time frame of your arrival into the US. Your last entry into the US is the one that counts in terms of eligibility for a new plan.

However, this plan does not restrict the purchase for this reason. This plan cannot be purchased from Canada, Australia and some US states (MD, WA, NY).

Feel free to call or email us with any questions or comments you may have.

We wish you and yours safe and happy travels!
