- Patriot Platinum is travel insurance for US citizens travelling outside the USA with coverage for brief returns to the US and for non US citizens travelling outside their home country.
- For those under 65 years of age the coverage must begin within 6 months of arrival in the USA and for those 65 and above the coverage must begin within 30 days.
- For US citizens up to $50,000 will be paid for eligible expenses of a sudden and unexpected recurrence of a pre existing condition while travelling outside the USA. Premium coverage available for in-patient and out-patient medical expenses.
- Supplement accident provide up to $300 of first dollar benefits for treatment of an injury. Along with medical benefits, the insured can get coverage for Common carrier accidental death, natural disaster, trip interruption, terrorism coverage...
- Most of the medical benefits cover up to the Maximum Limit. 12 months benefit period may provide continued coverage.
- Benefit of up to $500 will be paid in the event of loss of life to a small pet while traveling with a covered insured on a common air carrier
- Access to a dedicated service team for assistance services
- If you have purchased the plan for a minimum of 3 months, coverage may be renewed (without break in coverage) for a total of up to 3 years.
- In case of a emergency hospital admission, pre certification call must be made within 48 hours of the admission or as soon as reasonably possible.
