Please note that the deductible of the plan changes to $200 from the date of the 70th birthday for an individual who is covered under the immigrant secure insurance plan. It must also be noted that the policy maximums or medical coverage limits will reduce on reaching 70 and 80 years if those dates occur while an individual is covered under the plan. For those under age 65 the plan is open, for those over age 65 and visiting the US the initial of coverage must begin within 30 days of arrival in the US. |

Pre-Existing Condition Definition |
- A Pre-existing Condition is a condition that meets any of these descriptions: 1) that would have caused a person to seek medical advice, diagnosis, care or Treatment within the 6 months (or 12 months for persons age 70 and older) prior to your Effective Date. 2) for which medical advice, diagnosis, care or Treatment, including medication, was sought, recommended or received within the 6 months (or 12 months for persons age 70 and older) prior to your Effective Date. 3) the symptoms which occurred within the 6 months (or 12 months for persons age 70 and older) prior to your Effective Date would have allowed a person trained in medicine to make a diagnosis of the condition producing the symptoms. 4) which manifested within the 6 months (or 12 months for persons age 70 and older) prior to your Effective Date .
